I have a 31 Tudor and have all my parts primed and ready to reassemble. I’m baffled of what this part is and where does it go on the car?

Looks like the piece the hide-um welt goes into for the roof. I think it is the rear most part.

on the back of the Tudor body where the quarter panel and the back panel meet isn't there a piece like this that "dresses" up the seam of the joint?

I could be wrong, but I'd be willing to bet this piece has nothing to do with a Model A Tudor Sedan. I've restored a 29 and 30 Tudor (and working on another 29) and can't say I remember a piece like that anywhere. Of course, in 46 years of being around Model A Fords, I can definitely say there are times when "Ya learn something new every day".
If I had to take a stab in the dark, I'd definitely lean toward something to do with the inside of the rear body panels. But, I still think it's not Model A Tudor and may not be Model A at all. |

Thank you one and all for the input, this piece found its way into my epoxy primer pieces and for the life of me I can’t find where this puzzle piece goes. I think it was in with assorted pieces parts that came with the car. Thanks again for the help guys
