Do you put anything on a repro red steering wheel?

I suggest holding on to it with your hands while driving.

"Neutral" shoe polish brings out the color.

I put this on mine. It’s not red, but I think it looks much better than the repo steering wheel color. The finish has lasted for about four years. If you do not put a finish on the wheel and your hands get wet, the red will come off on your hands.
