I put this on mine. It’s not red, but I think it looks much better than the repo steering wheel color. The finish has lasted for about four years. If you do not put a finish on the wheel and your hands get wet, the red will come off on your hands.

Hello , I think that was a problem on original steering wheels also ! I guess one of the few repro parts that are authentic.!

I had mine painted red and for 26 years it is still looking good.
