I don't want to start a thread about seat belts or whether we should be driving in traffic, if you want to debate take it some where else. I just want to honor my friends and remind everyone to be careful. |

Seems to me that this is more about a dangerous intersection than any type of vehicle.
Always assume that you can not be seen, especially from the side and behind. Our deepest sympathy and understanding at this time of sadness. Last edited by fiddlybits; 11-30-2014 at 09:45 AM. Reason: correct spelling |

Yes, this is very tragic for friends, club members, and the hobby in general. This man & wife were very involved in the local club, --even holding one job for quite a while. Also adding to this tragedy was this Coupe was purchased new by the owner/driver's dad, and was one of the first Model-As sold in Houston. My thoughts & prayers go out to the GH Model-A club members along with the occupant's family.

Condolences and Prayers, but I would also like to point out that from the photo - for a car that was just T-boned by a speeding Dodge Charger the passenger compartment of the model A was remarkably intact

Very sad, Prayers to the couple and their families... I cannot understand 70mph on US Route. i.e
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_shield ![]() With US Routes, there are road crossing, unlike Interstate Highways, true highways.
