Seems to me that this is more about a dangerous intersection than any type of vehicle.

Always assume that you can not be seen, especially from the side and behind.

Our deepest sympathy and understanding at this time of sadness.

Yes, this is very tragic for friends, club members, and the hobby in general. This man & wife were very involved in the local club, --even holding one job for quite a while. Also adding to this tragedy was this Coupe was purchased new by the owner/driver's dad, and was one of the first Model-As sold in Houston. My thoughts & prayers go out to the GH Model-A club members along with the occupant's family.

70 MPH:eek: That means the other car was probably running 80 that's what they do around here. I'd start by dropping that speed limit the Texas Highway Dept. needs to get pro-active.

Condolences and Prayers, but I would also like to point out that from the photo - for a car that was just T-boned by a speeding Dodge Charger the passenger compartment of the model A was remarkably intact

With US Routes, there are road crossing, unlike Interstate Highways, true highways.
