That is cool, now there will be two suppliers of new blocks! If he beefs the block up to 'B' specs but keeps the outside looking 'A' we will be in heaven as far a new engine goes.

Wow exciting stuff. Maybe the guy doing the 5 main block needs to talk to this guy since he has had so much trouble with the pourings from Lodi.

Terry Burtz has some really pretty patterns, too. (I have seen them.) This is a complex casting to pour, get the metal to flow where you want it, and get all the air and other gasses that come out of the metal and molds to escape (not leave big voids). I wish them both luck because I want one!!!

Interesting to note that this is the same gentleman who makes the high compression Model A heads for Snyder's. If his Model A blocks are as good as his heads, we will be in tall cotton! Very exciting times.

From reading over on the HAMB, it looks like a finished block ready to be put together will be around 2500-3k.
