Found and purchased another Torque tube (early) this weekend, with numbers.
" A 343 " ..It would be nice too know the reason for the numbers...maybe similar
to the " tank stamps "?

Just wondering if this could be JUST a West coast thing?? It seems odd all listed here are out west & the late Steve Ciccalone had six of them & none marked and he lived in N.H. ??

Hello Fred,

I said the same thing (farther up on this thread), But..Ron Rude has the "numbers"
on the TT, on his early truck, built in the Rouge Plant....

I think, if Steve were still around, he would enjoy this dilemma!

D.J. Do you think the Factory knew it was going to Calif.. Maybe that Dealer out there ordered it & they built it for West Coast use ??

Someone stamped it for their own reference only had 1/4 letters and 3/16 numbers.
