On a 29 coupe, are the bolt heads inside the running boards, or do they get inserted through the fenders first so that the heads of the bolt are in the fender wells?
I have seen this disussed before but could not find it using the search engine. Thanks - Hunter |

The head of the bolt would be on the fender side with the lw and nut on the running board side.

As Mark pictured, the heads face the REAR on both ends of the running boards. It doesn't seem right to be this way on the front, but it is. I doubled checked my 28 Phaeton just to be sure.
