Default spring perch

I see from my green bible that the 40-3030 perch is listed as fitting passenger cars 32-34,
But. in B/Drakes they only list it as fitting a 32
My question, is ,are they the same.
Thanks Lawrie

Well, I used the search function, looks like they are the same except for the embossed B in the part number.
Is this right.

Probably, to my way of thinking, 32-34 front ends are identical, apart from the 'famed' 32 'heavy axle' and 32 wishbone.

The '33-'34 passenger car/commercial vehicle spring perches are not the same as their '32 counterpart. On the the '33-34 version, the spring shackle bore is about 1/8" higher on the perch pin. If mixed with a '32 pin, the front end will end up slightly lop sided.

Comparing one of each side by side the difference appears to be very minor. The 32 can be used on the 33-34 in pairs.

The later 40* perch would have been a service replacement for the B* perch. You'll want to use it in pairs as noted by David, though.
