I’ve read a number of times that you need to use specific wires for a pertronix ignition…..I’d contact them for advice……….Mark

Yep. It seems like that if you want to use one of their units, you have to do it exactly the right way to have a reasonable chance of success.

Never seen the wires routed quite like that. It'll be interesting to see how it works out.

The wires on the head side are just zip tied for now
I need to make something up to hold them

I am not a fan of the red and black wires routed through the side of the housing without any grommet or seal.

Brillman has an excellent selection and I have their wires on my avatar for years. They wre fisted fir long life, work with a Pertronix system, and I have no fenders or hood sides and no problems in heavy rainstorms.

I'll second the recommendation for Brillman. They have an amazing selection of wire and assorted bits, including Rajah spark plug terminals. I have found the only plug wire connections I am completely satisfied with are Mallory "flattop" distributor caps and Rajah plug ends.

They have (or at least used to have) a nice printed catalog.

I used Stromberg's wire set. They seemed to excellent quality and were easy to work with. Will work with Pertronix.
