Default 47 door glass

Could someone tell how to adjust 47 car door glass ? My door glass has developed a hairline crack starting from the top of the window that fits into the channel. I see there are 2 rivet like steel pieces near the top of the channel was likely the cause of the it being crack or am I missing something.Any pictures of adjustment would be really great.

If the glass is hitting metal then that is most likely the cause of the crack. The 'whiskers" are probably worn and need replacement.

Thanks for the reply. There seems to be 2 small circle metal at the top channel that seem to do nothing, thinking off drilling one out and see what happens.

I find it hard to believe that no one knows how to adjust a window door glass on a 47 car.
I can't find much in the search section either. I guess it's trial and error.

It's unclear to me how much adjusting is really possible on the 41-48 model side glass.

When I wind up the glass,it seems to get force towards the vent window and binds. So I thought there must be some adjustment.

That would suggest to me that the vent window channel isn't fully aligned.

Well, I couldn't move the side rail any further to allow more room for the glass.
Plan B, I guess
