Default Have a SKIP in Number 3 Cylinder when running

#3 Cylinder has a Skip when running. I changed plugs. Still have a Skip No water in The Oil, and No Oil in the water. Any suggestions on what might Be the skip when engine is running Thanks, HS

HS, are you POSITIVE you have spark to the plug? If you create a short gap between distributor wire and the plug, do you see sparks jumping between them as the engine runs? If not, I'd suspect your distributor.....

I would look at the distributor body first. Make sure you have continuity between the inside contact and the plug wire post on the outside of the body.

It may have a sticky valve on #3. Try running some Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel. Nothing better to dissolve carbon or crud.

Lift the plug straps a quarter inch and watch the spark jump when its running. You'll be able to see if its erratic. Works best if its low light, easier to see.
