Hey Guys who would you recommend on having a Ford Stromburg 94 Carb completely rebuilt. I want the body re colored and the shafts and bushings repaired. I do not want a wash and reassembled carb. I can do that myself. Just want this to be like new ?
I have a original 35 Pick up with the Flathead V8 and want to keep it all stock. Thanks Vic |

I think you have the carb model wrong as 34fivewindow said.
Holley was never in collaboration with Stromberg. The '94 is a Ford/Holley shared carb that was used on flathead V8's from '39 and up. The best guy to do what you want is Uncle Max (if a Stromberg) or Charlie NY if a Ford Holley 94. Sal |

Ok Guys. I could be incorrect in assuming that my truck is completely original. There is a #94 stamped on the carb body and assumed it was a Stromburg 94. it is whats on my truck currently.
How do I get in touch with uncle max ? Thanks Vic |

Charly NY rebuilt my 94 and my car runs great His contact is below https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/member.php?u=1147 Just private message him he will get back to you. Unless you have owned your vehicle from new, you don't know who put what carb on it. |

To be clear, you do not have a Stromberg carb.

Stromberg carb. is a better carb in my opinion ,you don't have the leak down problem from the power valve ,the outlet is above the float level ,Ted

Here are some pics of the carb.
I tried to post from my phone but not successful. On the left side there is a model #59 casted on the float bowl and the #94 is just above the center intake mounting stud. SO what do I have ? Thanks Guys Vic Last edited by Vics Stuff; 08-04-2017 at 12:19 AM. |

Uncle Max is the Stromberg expert. He may do 94's too. Not sure.
Charlie NY is the 94 expert. Sal |

personally I think the 94 is a better carb. However, you need a Stromburg 48 and Uncle Max is the place to go.

I'm another "CharleyNY" backer; I have had distributors and carbs done by him, and everything turned out perfect. Plus, he turns this jobs around in a reasonable time. Highly recommended.
