Where is the filter located?
Buy one of the siphon hoses and empty the tank into another vehicle. If the line into the filter is rubber, clamp it with a pair of vise grips. Then remove the filter. Remove the filter and quickly plug the line with a piece of hose plugged with a bolt. You will loose some gas but you can catch it with rags. If the car is drivable drive it until tank is empty. The OEM had a drain plug. You could empty the tank into three 5 gallon buckets. Don't store them inside. |
