Made a longer than usual trip today, most all on film, which I'll work on later. Bits and pieces and I'll need to edit out the lady friends, they all want to stay incognito
![]() Sarah was fine until she got warmed up a bit and she would sometimes do a chug after getting in 3rd gear between 20/30 from a stop but after she got up to 35 onward she was fine. Also noticed at my last stop, I let her sit for about ten minutes and I didn't turn the gas off. When I went out to leave, I smelled gas and checked under the hood, carb was dripping quite a bit. After this Tilly gets swapped out with the Zenith I have, that might take care of that problem. What was more serious though, Sarah's gas gauge hasn't been all the reliable, it always registered a third of a tank less but recently it's showing E when the tank has 9 gals inside.....so I made a dip stick and marked it after filling it up to 9.5 gallons. At the turn around spot, about 50 miles, I checked it with my dip-stick only to find I only had about 2 gals left!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll get all the bugs out of Sarah's teeth tomorrow........... ![]()
