The 1930-1931 Top Irons are 2" wider than the '28-'29 Tops.
This difference would be most notable where it clamps to the windshield frame. Darryl in Fairbanks Still looking for Original Top Irons for my 35B Standard Phaeton |

The "A" and "B" irons in your photo don't exist on '30 Roadster bows. They didn't have the scissor mechanism. If I recall correctly the #2 bow had a stud or dowel pin protruding and iron "C" had a corresponding hole to snap onto the dowel pin when the top was in the up position. Since the mechanism was a bit sloppy in the folded position, Ford included "stack fastener straps" to stabilize it when folded. These are shown in the Service Bulletins.
