When Oklahoma was relaxed on smog tests, while visiting Chief, there was HUGE mountain of convertors behind the muffler shop, next to the Barber Shop! I ALMOST rented a van to bring them to California & sell them!! The owner even offered me $100.00 & a FREE HAIRCUT, if I took the WHOLE PILE!! (I COULD HAVE BEEN RICH!)

Reminds me of a guy I knew 40 years ago.
He had a cutting torch in his pickup bed. Somebody stole the tanks, gauges and torch one night. So he built a fancy system out of tempered steel that covered the tanks and gauges. It had two of those giant Master pad locks. The next night the tanks and gauges were stolen again. There was a note saying ... "Thanks for leaving the gas valves turned on so I could easily cut the padlocks!" |

Now thats funny ! It would take all of an extra minute to get rid of that chain. Stealing Cats is kinda big around here, but, they only want brand new ones.

That's funny. I believe here in Ohio, scrap yards and the like are no longer allowed to take in cats. They are also not allowed to take in copper grounding rods.
