I am installing LED headlamps in my 39 Ford 2dr sedan standard and the headlamps are the correct diameter but because the LED has a back plastic housing for cooling purposes the headlamps in the standard factory bucket are tight against the sides and give me zero adjustment. Anyone done this and have ideas. I am thinking about adding a section to the bucket to make it longer but really need some more diameter to allow for headlamp movement/adjustment. This is my weekend project so all wild ideas will be appreciated.

It does sound like you will have to make the bucket bigger.
Or just not use them. Mart. |
