Some more info would be helpful. What year vehicle? Stock wiring? Are you going to use a add on turn signal switch. There are small transisterized switches. The switches usually come with diagrams on where to cut and ad the wires. I use relays and a subminiture center off switch.

As Andy said, you first need to decide what you are going to use to activate the turn signals. I, like Andy use a switch setup because I'm not a fan of the add on selectors on the column. But they are the easiest way to go. I would suggest you decide on a selector, order it and then if you don't understand the instructions that comes with it ask a question. If you are interested in a switch setup I can provide you that information. It is not difficult, but takes a little more effort than an add-on.

These diagrams are not mine, copied for others. There is a lot of good information at the site: http://www.how-to-build-hotrods.com/hot-rod-wiring.html
