I found the intermediate shaft parts for a 1930 AA at Bert's, Little Dearborn, and at a swap meet. Between those three I was able to replace the intermediate shaft, as every part of it was bad due to no lubrication.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the transmissions were made (or designed) by Warner Gear and made by both Warner and Detroit Gear and Machine, which I believe later was taken over by Warner Gear. Many of the cases have either a WG or DGM cast into them.

Parts and even whole truck trannies are available mucho plenty for small money. There are two versions of the top/gear shift: one with a pinned cap-lever, the other with a screw on cap. The tops are interchangeable. Bottom usually found with "smile cracks" on the underside caused by leaving the top off - getting rain/water inside - and then freezing. Something about them caused the cracking to occur easily. Joe K
