Default Towing a topless Roadster on an open trailer

This weekend I plan to tow my Roadster down to Florida for an event. It does not have a top. The last time I towed it was when I bought it and it had no windshield or windshield frame at that time.

I'm a little worried about the windshield holding up to speeds of 70MPH without moving. What do you guys with experience do? Run it with the windshield as is? Open the windshield bottom a couple inches to let wind flow better? Fold the windshield down and strap it? Remove the windshield and frame, wrap it in a blanket and put it in the back of the tow rig?
