Default 32 door handle D-nuts????

One of the doors on my 32 Tudor is missing the two D-nuts that the outside handle attaching screws thread in to. As they are almost impossible to access, does anyone have a suggestion on securing them? There is NO room to get anything in that spot. Thanks!

There are high strength glues and epoxies that would do the job. GM is gluing the beds of its pickups to the chassis frame, at least in part.

Can't get in with anything like a rivnut tool. Thanks, tho.

Epoxy is a good idea. Need to figure out a way to scoot it in place and hold it. Paint stick?

slip the nut over a thin wire with a hook on the end that will not let the nut fall off. Thread the wire through the handle hole and back out the screw hole. Pull tight.

I would use the wire trick as Carl mentioned . Has worked for me in the past. I would use the 24 hour full cure JB weld to glue the D nut on the back side. When done you will probably need to chase the threads with a tap.
