It's time. Found one side was dry and noisy. It's time.
The part number is 8A-1225. They're normally sold with the retaining ring, 8A-1144. I need two sets. All leads to reliable sources will surely be appreciated. |

Yes, Joblot and I are old friends. I tend to go there first. James, the guy I usually talk to, said their bearings are made somewhere in the USA, but he couldn't tell me exactly where. Well... that's better than nothing but not as good as NOS. Good thing I'm not in a hurry.

Richard, you said you have plenty of time. Does that mean you are driving the car now? Try Stacy Brown in Texas |

Not hardly. It's way up in the air on jackstands. I'm doing some front end work, and the differential is coming out for rebuilding. That's why I have plenty of time.

According to the Internet, Antique Auto Supply (Stacy Brown) has 30 of the 8A-1225 part numbers, 14 of the 8A-1225-A part numbers, and 4 of the A9AZ-1225-A part numbers.

Green Auto Sales deals primarily in NOS Ford parts.
Their online inventory shows a few of the bearings in stock - link: http://www.greensalescompany.com/GreenSalesInventory.asp |

Thanks to all who helped.
I found NOS bearings at a place called Miller Obsolete Parts. Nice knowledgeable guy named Mark. Excellent prices. A comfortable small company. www.millerobsoleteparts.net Happy New Year! |
