I have a nice reproduction grille shell emblem that doesn’t fit my 34 pickup. It measures about 1 3/4” wide and 7/8” tall. What’s it go on? Thanks

34 PU uses the same one as 1932.In fact 32-35 Commercial is the same. What is on the back? A clip or a threaded stud? If its a clip it is 35,36 and 38 STD pass car. If its a stud it appears to be 1934 from the shape of the face.33 pass car also has a stud but the curve of it is different. The orig emblems Never had a part number, only the maker like Fox or Ross Ad Seal etc. Here is an original '32-35 commercial.3rd and 4th pics are of an original '34 pass car.The last 2 pics are of an orig '33 pass car. If you buy a repro I suggest the Vintique. The reason is Drakes is made to fit HIS bezels SO it will not fit tight in an original bezel. There are slight gaps all the way around. Threaded stud on the back, no numbers or letters on the back either.

![]() Take the nut of and compare the base of the stud and see if matches to a pic of one I sent. The orig 33 has a square base ,34's like 32's are round. Many of the early repros just had a screw soldered on. No originals had part numbers on back, just makers or vendor mark. The correct emblem for your application should be approx 2 1/8 " wide across the front. The 34's approx 1 7/8" or a bit less. Looking at the curve of yours it appears '34 which was more pronounced .35'56 had a curve like the '34 but had a clip on the back. |

found that a tiny O ring makes the best 'lock' washer. Does not stress the solder of the bolt. Newc
