I as looking at some posts about the dash lights being dim. I can see the fuel and oil gauge ok but not great. The speedometer is lit well enough but the temperature gauge and ammeter are difficult to see. I am using 6 candle power bulbs. Are there any brighter bulbs on the market?

Make sure you have a good ground to your dash and gauges.

The bulbs don’t get dim over the years, but the plastic lense gets opaque. Find a good substitute for the lense and replace all of them for consistency.

I also increased the rectangular openings where the light goes through and plastic lens'
covers. Part of the pbm is that the light bulbs were not close enough to these openings to give enough light to the guages. terry |

Ledlight.com is where I got mine for the dash tail lights and headlights. Now I can drive at night and actually see.
