From what I've read that is a pretty rare truck style! Supposedly made for companies like Frigidaire to deliver their products to customers. Awesome pic!

I have parked next to a truck like that at car shows. The truck restoration was spectacular. The same guy also owns a A town car.

I had an opportunity a couple of years ago to buy a AA truck like that. It wasn't a good fit for me at the time. Still kicking myself....
A town car is another style I'd love to own! |

And "A" not "AA." Wheel rims, wheelbase - distance between passenger door and rear wheel.
It looks like the lead car in the parade celebrating the victory of the workers. Hey. Any reason is a good one for a parade. Just don't ask for time off from work to attend. Joe K

I think that truck is a GAZ because it lacks the stainless steel and chrome plated exterior lights & trim of a USA Deluxe Pickup.

Russian writing on the banner indicates its a GAZ.

That is a Russian GAZ-4 (from later 1930's). Note the painted front bumper, the painted bed rails, the shape of the horn, and the painted headlights, etc......and of course the banners in Russian.
Here is another photo of an earlier GAZ-4....."earlier" because of the plated radiator shell and headlight rings. In the later production versions, those were painted black (as per the original photo in #1 above) as a cost saving effort. The GAZ-4's were produced in Russia from September 1933 - 1937 (when the GAZ-A production ended). A total of 5265 GAZ-4's were produced. Brad in Maryland . Ford built this variant in the U.S. too. Ford called it a "service car". I've only seen an AA version up close.
