Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can explain the holes in the side of the rumble seat lid near the top corner? IMG_4875.jpg |

Trunk hinge journal. The trunk hinge is a pin that mounts on the body, and inserts into the holes in the lid.

Most lids had the provisions for either trunk or rumble applications. The door handle is an exception but it can be modified for either application.

Is it true that a cabriolet would have always come with a rumble seat? If so, would such a hinge mount still be there?
