What are the best plugs for a stock V-8. I assume hotter is better?

There are a couple of different heads for the 36 that take two different size plugs. Which heads do you have? Part number should be embossed on the head.

My heads are cast iron for flat top pistons. Takes a plug that fits a 7/8 wrench.
