Default V8-60hp Flywheel

Can I machine off the cup on the 37-39 60HP flywheel and redrill it to make it into a 1940 flat type flywheel for the 9 inch clutch? Thanks for the help.

Yep, you may machine the bell off of the flywheel.

Be certain to lay out the new holes VERY accurately.
Also, be certain to have it balanced after the machine work has been completed.
