I want to install my new Hood Bumper Kit on my '36 Ford pickup.
I "think" I squeeze with needle-nose pliers the little Black metal "rivet" that has the split end and insert into opposing little Black metal "rivet" and possibly use a "C" clamp to press or squeeze together. Please let me know back if I am correct on this. ....ALSO....when installing the hood bumpers on the front and rear of the hood sides, does the black rubber bumper go on the backside of the hood side then "sandwiched" between the hood side and the little triangular retainer clip with the little Black "rivet" going thru all this from the front side of the hood and squeezed together. Possibly reply back with a photo would be very helpful. THANK YOU, Bruce California |
