What degrees do you see the timing on an FSI electronic ignition?

The electronic does not change the way it is timed.
So, it gets timed the same way with the pin, or light or nurex wrench for TDC |

I time my truck with a timing light at 2 1/2 degrees BTC. The distributor is limited to 20 degrees of total advance because of my Brumfield 5.9 head.

What AL and 1929 are saying is correct for a HC head. If you have a standard head as the pin goes in you want TDC and the rotor pointing to #1. As in the photo. |
