Default Oil pickup tube for a French block?

Which year oil pickup tube should I use for a French block?
59 AB pan will be used.
Thanks

I'd use a 49-53 oil pump and a truck pickup. I used to just bend/weld up other flathead pickups to get them to the right spot - not I just buy this one from Speedway:

Sometimes the pickup bottom is TOO far off the bottom of the pan - should be between 1/4" and 3/8" - I've had to heat and bend some of them.

Good luck!
