How much, if any, play is acceptable in the king pins on a 40 pickup ? Right side has none, left side has approx. 1/32".

Don't disagree with zero play as the objective, but back in the day, the State of Virginia would pass up to 1/16th movement at the top of the tire,

That makes sense as 1/16 at the top indicates almost nothing at the kingpin assuming
the wheel bearings didn't influence the 1/16 finding.. |
