Fill it till you can see it. I filled mine with John Deere Corn Head grease.

The filler is the level plug.

Andy, do like Ken says. I have used STP in the past however, I just recently rebuilt the steering box in the '39 CS and used Corn Head Grease.

I will try corn grease next time. I already have a tube and plan to use in the zert for greasing rear spring |
