My early 29 Tudor has the fabric on 3 sides, not the side which meets the other board. It's not cut at the corners, but just folded making a 45* thick lap on the bottom side. Short pieces on the short edge by the pedals. Nothing at D and H. Tacked on sides and bottom.

I just had the original floorboards out of my '31 today. There are remnants of fabric and tacks at A,B,C,E,F,and G. None at D and H. That is, fabric was on three edges of each board, but not on the edges where the two boards meet.

The originals on my 29 Tudor were as described above. I have seen other originals and that seems to be the standard installation.
