Hey all- I DID the search thing,found a lot of usefull info,but would like some clarification.
![]() Solid wheels seem good to go(40 ford),but Q'ing the spokes because of the back of the wheel(lug/taper) in the hole. Just do not want to find out the hard way! ![]() Thanks if this has been re-visited over and over. -Kid |

I am a HAMB regular.... Just thought this might be the place,as more focussed on A's in general. And yes- those were the spacers that i would be refering to.

Model A hubs were not flat where the wheel bolts onto, they had a step in them. This step must be matched in order to keep the wheel from flexing and eventually cracking. Putting washers behind each stud is not the answer!
