Handsome FEO
Pen engine down to 33/34(non ventilated) or 35/36(ventilated).
35/36 have 1.5" tube in rt front of valve chamber down thru eng to pan rail &
Zippo cig lghter size tin vent can below on rt front of oil pan.
Need more info re numbers on heads, etc. For a start to id. Main bearings
next if 1936.

num. on back of block reads 160 24

Trans mount is 35-36. The pan is not 32-34 so probably also 35-36. It looks like a truck engine from the fan. I think the trans top changed in 36 so I call it a 35.

Don't I see water pump cover plates on the block making it a 1937?? Also I see a somewhat valuable Stromberg carb.

Per Barn man appears to be water pump in block 37/38 engine --confirm front block-off plates where pumps should mount.
Is running 36 & earlier water pump in heads. Distributor is correct for 37-41.
Probly in 35/36 auto or 1/2 t commercial-l trans is not truck best I see. Gene Tulsa
