Default Fuel pump bushing question

Finally got my 8BA block back from the machine shop. I am planning to use an electric fuel pump for my build. The machine shop pressed in the fuel pump rod bushing into the block but threaded a bolt into it. Is that right? The machine shop who did the work seemed to know flatheads wheras I am no expert. Before I start reassembly just wanted to make sure that's the right thing to do.
Thanks in advance
