Does anyone have any period torque / power curves for the Ford or Merc Flathead V8s?
Years ago on another forum a guy posted a 1944 Ford dyno run for the 3.9 which showed peak torque at 2000 RPM, with the torque at 3000 RPM just about the same as that at 1000 RPM. I wondered if there is any more historic data like this around. Thanks,

JWL's Book has some very accurate torque readings for the stock as well as the modified engine.
