3.6 & 3.9 Dyno Curves?

Does anyone have any period torque / power curves for the Ford or Merc Flathead V8s?
Years ago on another forum a guy posted a 1944 Ford dyno run for the 3.9 which showed peak torque at 2000 RPM, with the torque at 3000 RPM just about the same as that at 1000 RPM. I wondered if there is any more historic data like this around.

Thanks,

Not to worry, alchemy is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE! I believe he is just trying to help the "British" use "flathead speak". LOL
No offence intended.

Haha, you know, I wondered about that! After all, an alchemist has to be a pretty sharp guy! :D

For what its worth, all that info is on charts in the Ford Service Bulletins.

JWL's Book has some very accurate torque readings for the stock as well as the modified engine.

For what it is worth, John (JWL) could never get factory rated hp and torque from a completely factory stock engine.
John's dyno had a new calibration in it when he did the tests.
