Default Tis The Season For New Noises

The cold weather causes some new noises. These are the ones I notice in my "A":
> Speedometer cable howls until it warms up. The howling is from the inner cable rubbing on the outer housing caused by over-zealous-greasing the drive gear, so the grease congeals inside the cable;
> Louder valve clatter when the engine is cold;
> New rattles in both rear fenders where they attach to the body;
> Gear grinding from very cold transmission oil;
> My teeth chattering from the car bucking because I did not warm it up enough before driving away.
