Default Timing help

Hey everyone first thanks for the add second I am new to the ford model t
I have a 27 I saved form being junked has not run since early 80s
I pulled the head a freed all the valves
My question is when number 1 cylinder is at tdc should the rotor point to the number one cyl like a small block Chevy
