Any advice on how to remove the door hinge bolts from my '49 Merc? They are large Phillips or Posi-drive bolts.

I have used an impact screw driver such as this with success. But that is all dependent on the condition of the screws.

i used a pneumatic 3/8 drive impact driver with a socket and driver bit

If you don't care about the paint a propane torch with one of the impacts mentioned above worked for me.
