Default Just when you thought that you seen it all..My Deck Door

Started disassembling the Rumble Seat items from the September 1929 Standard Coupe today to convert it back to the trunk it was originally.

Now here is one for you. The original Deck Door Upper Brackets for the trunk hinges were removed, I know that for a fact...Just why the heck I did, I have no idea as that was back in 1979 when I was just getting back after it.

HOWEVER...I notice that those same brackets, not the ones I removed in the first place, are also on the opposite ends of the Deck Door...Now what the heck here. Both sides have the same bolts, nuts, Lock washers and Shakeproof Lock washers and double nutted on two of them but NOT riveted.

Has anyone ever seen this on any Deck Doors?

Yes Dudley...The "Doubler" is there!
