The pressed on gear does not have a retainer to remove. Suggest drill small holes on the gear where it attaches to the cam to release the broken cam gear.

The clip you need is not an original part of the latch. It is a repair part, the original was part of the housing that has broken off. So the repair part will not be found in the bottom of the door.
