update:thankyoukurt in NJ Ruth, and Gene F--I pulled IP amp meter was not touched the Ing swich was wires had been swiched (Not orininal style) I swiched them back making sure not to let it short...

The battery is correct. As car was sitting 3 people were working on it at the same time,
not sure what all was done to it! IT does start and run, and the amp meter used to work correctly.

amp reads backward?
car was sitting for 2 yrs. Now it starts and runs , The amp meter shows adischard when engine is running. When swich is off turn rhe lights on and it shows a charge. Not a discharge. I am confused!

I went with an open trailer on a open cab pu. Covered it with a tarp many bungee cords, left a trail of bungee cords and top shreds for miles! go with an enclosed trailer.

Need Information
I need to find directions to adjust valves, with the head on. The Les Andrews instructions say to start with piston 2-3/8" from top of cylinder.Can't do this with head still on! Can someone point me...

I have an old analog sears it hooks to the coil and ground. Read the 8 cyl. scale and double it. I am hard of hearing can't tell 450 rpm from 700 rpm !

arms are too short for that.I bought one of the vendors wrenches solved the problem!

Solved it!
I sent the gen to have it rebuilt.While it was gone I redid the gas gauge.The cork had fallen off. When I put the IP back on, I somehow got the switch against the dash which shorted...

I have a 28 roadster pick up.And I have a two post lift.It is very time consuming to get this thing lifted using the frame. Would it hurt to lift it using
the radius rods?
