Is it the circuitry in the Ignition Switch that lets the generator continue to charge even when the engine is running on magneto?

Red, thanks for the reply. It appears to be bent on the wheel side of the axle shaft bearing, Just about in the area at the fat end of the taper. The housing is straight and true.

Looks like I may have a bent axle shaft. The rear wheel has a 5/8" wobble underway. I tried switching wheels from the other side and the runout persists. My question is. Has anyone ever straightened...
