Another Take on Pick-up Storage

On my 1930 CCPU, the seat is VERY hard to remove, so I decided to try another approach to Tool, fluid, spares, etc. storage.
Left Milk Can contains:
-4 innertubes
-1.5 gallons oil
-1.5 gallons...

Generator parts and tools (slightly off topic)

I have a friend who grew up working in his father's auto electric repair shop. He wants to get back into it as a hobby, but can't find a source for all the various small parts and specialized tools...

MIne works well, Just an add on on top of the original muffler. In the summer, I plug the forward end with a wad of aluminum foil, Keeps the air from heating the firewall door. John

Powder Coated black, good heavy steel for $69.00 a pair. Mounting bolt set was an additional $2.95. Freight was $15.10.

If you do buy a "battery tender", be aware that they are not all created equal. BATTERY TENDER (trademark) ones are much better made and cost more that BATTERY BUTLER (trademark).

On my 1930 ccpu 35 mph to 40 mph feels good. Haven't tried to push it beyond that, as very poor hearing would not let me catch warning sounds! I know that my 31 coupe (in 1960) would cruise all day...

Haven't tried it in the Miss Frances (1930 ccpu), but it is a well known steering gear fix for Farmall Letter series tractors from the 40's and 50's.

Tire Pressure

What tire pressure would you guys suggest for my 1930 CCPU? Operating above 5000 feet here in Montana, a few days in the 90's, but usually 70's and 80's for summer highs. Thanks, John
