Thanks that’s what I thought. I can’t believe they welded it from the back. Oh well I’m going to cut the door side off the bottom driver side. I drilled the pin out slightly off center and it won’t...

31 Victoria hinge removal from door

Hi All looking for advice on removing hinges from door side. Took passenger one off but not only had to drill the rivets but also had to chisel off the weld behind it. Is this normal or am I missing...

Thanks for the words of encouragement. The wood is in good condition and I will be removing the body from the frame next week. Looking at it at length today it looks like the bottom of cowl is to far...

1931 ford Victoria door alignment

Looking for some advice on aligning the doors. I have read all the posts and understand shimming the cowl just forward of the A pillar. As you can see from the pics I need to rebuild the one bracket....
