Search Amazon for 66-70 Fairlane brake booster mount. I used a dual MC from a 70 Mustang and an 8" dual diaphragm booster. Also a spacer (bullet) needs to be installed between booster and MC. Can be...

Re: The Ford Motor Company in 1957

I was just researched the same issue recently for my 56 and discovered that the rag joint is not necessary. Can't remember which vendor I found has a coupler which joins the Borgeson box to the...

Re: Wheel Alignment

Was able to achieve what I feel are decent settings of 2 1/2* + caster and 1/2* + camber along with 1/16" toe-in using radial tires. Runs down the road and handles perfect now even up to 70mph. Time...

Re: Wheel Alignment

Follow up on my alignment. I did find the info needed in the Motor Parts Manual. All readings are positive which surprises me. I'm now attempting to do some adjusting. Thanks all

Re: Wheel Alignment

Now I'm even more confused from your last article. I totally understand caster and camber. My concern was about the shop manual not stating + or - specs. This last article states - caster and +...

Re: Wheel Alignment

I realize this is an old post but I'm also trying to do an alignment on my 56 Fairlane. Those specs in the shop manual don't say whether they are positive or negative. I'm confused

Re: 57 with 312 rough when accelerating

Did you just install the Pertronix now to try to correct the problem or has it been in there a while. I have found that when they go bad they can have very erratic behavior especially while...
